The food here is great. There are lots of options to choose from and have generous portions. If you like Asian food... you gotta try it. You won't be disappointed!
Today I just googled fried rice and this place came up. I got chicken fried rice and chicken egg rolls. I must say the food was delicious!! I absolutely loved the texture of the rice. The customer service was great. She was very polite. I will definitely return.
Don't let the understated, homey building dissuade you...Channy's is VERY GOOD. It is obviously a home that has been coverted but there is a spacious, simple dining area and it is well kept. I went thinking it was Chinese(-American) but saw the sign - Japanese and Cambodian. Not being experienced in that fare, I went with Hibachi Shrimp. Wow. The accompanying salad and soup were quite tasty. Then the entree...in addition to being a plate full it was so well seasoned and prepared...Great. The young man that is at the main counter was also waiting tables at lunch on a weekday and he was very polite and helpful. He even promised, with a smile, to "work on that" when I told him Cambodian decor should include some elephants! :) If the food is your primary consideration versus "fancy," this is your place.
We ordered the channys special it's big enough for 2 also got my 2 girls a hibachi chicken they also shared and was enough as well . Ordered the crunchy crab roll it was so good and got a tuna roll that was really good as well . I've never been here and for the price we paid 65 dollars for 4 people ....also came with soups and salads that taste like benni hanna salads so that's a 10 out of 10 I'll rate this a 8 out of 10 .. truly is a hidden gem 💎 will be ordering here again 😁 P.s we finished the soup and salads b4 I could take the picture lol

You guys!! I’ve been spending more time in MS for work and thought I’d struggle to find decent food, so I chose to venture out to a new spot… I am extremely familiar with sushi & Asian fusion food, so trust me when I tell you, this is the spot. This area NEEDED this food. & SERVICE?! Wow. So professional, but personable at the same time. They helped me find the roll I wanted & every roll was amazing. Other servers checked on us which is going above & beyond. They’re family owned & each staff member is part of the family, so please go support them! Show some love & venture out, even if you think you may not like a certain food, try it!!
Don’t let the hole in the wall appearance sway you away… this is a hidden gem. I personally appreciate the more quiet atmosphere this place offers. This is one of my son’s favorite restaurants for months now. He has been raving about the oxtail soup (Kathiew); so when we went I finally tried it. It was very flavorful (reminded me of a really good pho). We have gone a few times together (and he has gone a lot alone) and tried several items on the menu (especially the specials). We always have good service and good sized portions and fresh food.
The BEST Cambodian and Japanese food I've had in a long time!!! The customer service was wonderful. Channy's Kitchen is family owned and operated. You can literally taste the care & love in the food. Delicious. Great portions. Friendly staff- Great service. So good the phone didn't eat first. Walked in mid day mid week. Very attentive staff. The misfits on the radio and Simpsons on the TV (nostalgia and my vibe.)
Our server was a very sweet young lady. I got the chicken hibachi for lunch and it was wonderful! These portions are crazy for the price. I also got the spicy shrimp roll and it was equally as delicious. I definitely recommend. This place is definitely an underrated gem. I don’t know why this place is packed out the door.
